The two innocent girls are roommates in the dormitory, best friends, and daydream of finding love. Ye Hong and her dancing partner Yaming (Mao Huafeng) had been close friends since they were young children, but she considers him just a regular friend to his dismay. Xiaomi, however, has a secret crush on him. Ye Hong becomes fascinated with Shen Fang (Lu Jianmin), an older and eccentric painter who just lost his girlfriend to another man.
